The AAPSC is committed to advancing student understanding of the soil resource, its role in global and local ecosystems, and its sustainable use and management. We strive to accomplish this commitment through funding of the Gray-Rutledge scholarships for Arkansas university students studying soil science or related fields. In addition, AAPSC provides financial and in-kind support for educational activities, at the high school and college level, that are designed to enhance student knowledge of soil classification and soil science.
